Last weekend, I had the privilege of blogging the 2008 PRSA International Conference with a team of several PR professionals and students. Thank you Detroit and PRSA National for allowing us the opportunity to spread “The Point of Connection” message to those who were unable to attend the conference and to those who attended the conference, but could not attend each session.
Please visit the ComPRehension blog to view and comment to all 62 posts about the conference. Even if you did attend the conference or viewed the posts last week, bookmark these posts and let us know how you are incorporating what you learned into your daily grind.
Not all of the posts are about social media. (Yes, breathe a sigh of relief.) We covered topics such as making the transition from professional to professor, copyright compliance, charting a course for global success and more! Also, check out the widget in the right sidebar on blog for the stream of tweets (#prsa08) during the conference! Interesting tidbits of information from twitterverse! The conversation is still going strong!
Thank you to all the peeps who came to our tweet-up/blogger dinner. We had 53 people and overflowing our allotted space at Sweet Lorraine’s! Good times! Thank you to all the guest bloggers who donated their time and writing skills to the blog. Thank you to PRSA National (specifically Barbara McDonald) for allowing the content to be so accessible and the fabulous people behind the scenes like Jasu Sims and Randi Mason who made the content available and placed tags and photos with posts! Give these people a pat on the back and let them know what you thought about the social media aspect of the conference.
Hope to see you next year in San Diego!
